Submit to the journal

The Journal of European Public Policy (JEPP) uses ScholarOne Manuscripts (previously Manuscript Central) to peer review manuscript submissions. You can submit your manuscript online via JEPP’s manuscript submission site. Please read the guide for ScholarOne authors before making a submission. Complete guidelines for preparing and submitting your manuscript to JEPP are provided here.

Important: JEPP is committed to transparency in research and embraces the professional norms of accountability and openness. As a signatory of the Data Access and Research Transparency (DA-RT) Joint Statement (http://www.dartstatement.org), it is part of the journal’s editorial policy that manuscripts submitted for publication conform to the standards expressed therein. Upon acceptance of the paper and along with the final submission, authors are asked to make available the statistical data and replication materials (such as .do files). If these materials cannot be shared temporarily, a statement justifying exemption from disclosing the data is required. Replication data and materials can be made available at the journal’s website via Figshare™, an online repository.

For further information, please see our information on Online supplemental material.

JEPP considers all manuscripts on the strict condition that

  • the manuscript is your own original work, and does not duplicate any other previously published work, including your own previously published work.
  • the manuscript has been submitted only to Journal of European Public Policy; it is not under consideration or peer review or accepted for publication or in press or published elsewhere.
  • the manuscript contains nothing that is abusive, defamatory, libellous, obscene, fraudulent, or illegal.

Please note that JEPP uses CrossCheck™ software to screen manuscripts for unoriginal material. By submitting your manuscript to JEPP you are agreeing to any necessary originality checks your manuscript may have to undergo during the peer-review and production processes.

Any author who fails to adhere to the above conditions will be charged with costs which JEPP incurs for their manuscript at the discretion of JEPP’s Editors and Taylor & Francis, and their manuscript will be rejected.
